The Choir of Saint Anne
Rachel Kasianowicz, Minister of Music
Music at St. Anne’s actively involves adults, youth, and children. Great importance is placed on the value of knowing and serving the God through the offering of music, of all styles, in the worship of His Church. Our goal is to grow in the stewardship of the musical gifts God has given us, and through this work to experience a deepening of one's walk with Christ. Come, let us sing to the Lord!
The St. Anne’s adult choir consists of approximately 10 volunteer singers. Membership is open to singers of high school age and above. The choral literature includes anthems and service music ranging from the Renaissance through 21st century. They rehearse at 7:00 p.m. on Thursdays
In addition to singing at St. Anne’s Sunday, 10:00 a.m. service, the adult choir sings during occasional feast day services and concerts.
Membership is open to children from the 2nd grade (or younger children who are able to read) through 8th grade. Bi-monthly the junior choir provides musical offerings at the Sunday, 10:00 a.m. service. Rehearsals are held Sundays, following the 10:00 a.m. service.
