The Rev. Jonathan Musser, Rector
Father Jon is a native of St. Louis, Missouri and is a 2017 graduate of Virginia Theological Seminary. He was most recently the Assistant Rector at St. Francis in Potomac, and he has previously served All Saints Church in Chevy Chase, Church of the Ascension and St. Agnes in D.C., and All Souls Church in D.C. Father Jon is now the rector and priest of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Damascus, MD.
The Rev. Janice Hicks, Deacon
Deacon Janice is a native of Baltimore, Maryland and is a 2017 graduate of Virginia Theological Seminary. She was the Deacon at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Olney from 2019-2022 and has been at St. Anne's since 2022. She is a full-time chaplain with Montgomery Hospice, serving Montgomery County in the home hospice division.

Vestry
The vestry is made up of St. Anne’s members who are elected at our annual meeting. In the Episcopal and Anglican traditions, the vestry is the legal representative of the parish with regard to all matters pertaining to its corporate property. Our rector leads the vestry. The basic responsibilities of the vestry are to help define and articulate the mission of the congregation; to support the church’s mission by word and deed, to select the rector, to ensure effective organization and planning, and to manage resources and finances. St. Anne’s has two wardens. The senior warden is a support person for the rector, organizes the work of the vestry and leads the church when there is no rector. The junior warden has responsibility for church property and buildings.
